Where Were We?

Many on the left and in the mainstream media are asking, “Where were all those protesters when President Bush was running up his deficits?”

Where were we?

We were writing our government representatives in the House and Senate asking them to stop the madness…AND being ignored.

We were calling our government representatives in the House and Senate asking them to stop the madness…AND being ignored.

We were e-mailing our government representatives in the House and Senate asking them to stop the madness…AND being ignored.

We were sending petitions to our government representatives in the House and Senate asking them to stop the madness…AND being ignored.

WELL…WE ARE NOT GOING TO BE IGNORED ANYMORE!!!

While President Bush’s spending was out of control and he ran up a $1.8 trillion deficit…most of that coming in the last year of his administration, due largely to the stimulus checks mailed out to tax payers last May and the $787 billion bailout package passed in October...we were fuming. The pot was beginning to boil.

But, now we feel the stakes are too high to just write, call, e-mail and petition our government representatives in the House and Senate, we see the need to take action on a much louder scale which cannot be ignored. Enough is enough. We want the madness to stop. We want the government, who works for us, to listen to us and stop ignoring us. WE WILL BE HEARD...one way or the other!!!
