Chapter 37
7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
During this stressful time in our nation's history, we can find comfort and strength in the scriptures. We can find solace in the counsel God has given us through His words. Now more than ever is not the time to forget who really guides our lives on a daily basis and whose hand should guide our every action.
We need to look around each day and see the hand of God in our lives. We need to see the love of God that surrounds us daily and thank Him continually for His unconditional love. With Him everything is possible. With Him we can defeat our enemies at every turn. With Him we can protect our families and our country from those who wish to destroy both and with Him we should fear nothing. We must realize that whatever happens in this election is supposed to happen and we must continue to pray for his guidance and direction.
However, as I said in a previous blog, take heart...stay strong...stand up...speak up...fight back. Let's not be silent anymore. Let's make our voices heard and make our opinions matter. Let's begin to make a difference and force positive change in our homes, communities, country and world.
